Recording, transcription and search cost nothing, with no limit on minutes or storage. The paid plans are priced; what they add will be listed here with a date.
Recording, transcription, search and export are free, with no limit on minutes, recording length or how long anything is kept. Pro and Team have prices. What each of them adds on top of Free is not settled yet, so this page does not describe it: it will be listed here with a date and a version once it is.
The plans
Paid plans are not open yet. These are the prices we plan to launch with.

Pro is quoted as a monthly figure because that is how it is compared. The annual figure is the same plan paid up front, shown per month so the two numbers can be read against each other.
What is settled, and what is not
Settled: the prices above, and that recording, transcription, search and export are on the free plan with no limit on minutes or storage. Your recordings and transcripts are never the thing being rationed.
Not settled: what Pro and Team add on top of Free. Writing a list today would mean describing a design rather than the product, so the list stays off this page until it is true.
What we commit to
- No plan puts a limit on recording minutes, on the length of a recording, or on how long anything is kept.
- Every numeric limit is published with a date and a version, on the fair limits page.
- Once you subscribe, your price and limits won’t get worse for as long as your subscription keeps renewing. Details in our Terms.

Questions
- What do I get for free?
- Dictation, meeting recording, transcription, search across everything you have recorded, and export. There is no limit on recording minutes, on how long a recording can be, or on how long anything is kept. The free plan does not ask for a card.
- What does Pro add?
- That is not settled yet, and we would rather leave the answer blank than describe a plan that does not behave that way. The price is fixed at $16 a month. When the contents are settled they will be listed on this page with a date and a version.
- Are there limits on recording minutes or storage?
- No, on any plan. Minutes of recording, the length of a single recording and how long transcripts are kept are not metered. That is a deliberate choice rather than an oversight: speech is recognised on your Mac, so recording costs us nothing to run, and metering it would sell you back something that is already free. What costs money is the cloud layer, and that is what the paid plans buy.
- Can you change the limits later?
- Numbers can move, and they only move one way for an account that already exists: the conditions you signed up under stay. A change that makes things worse applies to new sign-ups only. Every numeric limit is published with a date and a version, so you can compare today against last month rather than take our word for it.
- What happens to my data if I cancel?
- Your recordings, transcripts and notes stay yours and stay reachable, and export is on the free plan rather than behind the paid one. Going back down to free means losing the cloud layer, not losing the archive. The full rules for cancelling and downgrading live on their own page.
- Do you have a team plan?
- There is a Team plan: $40 a month for each member of the workspace, or $32 a month for each member billed annually. Everyone who belongs to the workspace counts, whether they record or only read. Team is not open yet, so the way in is to request access rather than to buy it from this page — we set the workspace up with you by hand.
